2021 Spring Lacrosse Online Registration
Lacrosse is a fast paced, action packed contact sport that combines the field sense of soccer, the teamwork of basketball, and the thrill of hockey. Anyone can play lacrosse, regardless of size. The game requires and rewards coordination and agility, not necessarily brawn.
Lacrosse (often abbreviated as “LAX” for shorthand) is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation with new and growing programs at all our area high schools. Now in our 10th season, the Timberwolves are proud to be one of the largest, premiere community lacrosse programs in the Midwest.
Timberwolves Spring Lacrosse provides excellent conditioning to keep your youth athlete in shape during the offseason for football and cheer. So, if you are a new to lacrosse we welcome you to sign-up. For our returning players, we can’t wait to see you in the spring.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the registration fees for Spring Lacrosse?
Spring Lacrosse registration is $250 with a multi-player discount of $10 per player. There will be no early bird pricing for 2021.
Do I need to pay the full registration up front or can I sign-up for a payment plan?
We will not have a payment plan option for 2021 due to the shortened registration period. However, you will not be required to pay at the time of registration. All payments will be due on April 15th.
How long is spring lacrosse registration open?
Registration is open from February 8th to March 31st, 2021.
What do my registration fees cover?
The Timberwolves are one of the only programs in the Midwest to INCLUDE equipment usage as part of the registration cost. We provide the helmet, pads, gloves, and uniforms – you must have your own stick (who wouldn’t want their own stick anyway?).
What is the Spring Lacrosse practice and game schedule like?
2021 will see an abreviated late Spring Lacrosse season. All league games will be played between May 9th and June 1st. Games are generally scheduled on Sundays, with younger levels playing earlier in the day and older levels playing later in the day. We will likely see double headers and/or games played outside of Sunday due to the abreviated schedule. Practices are 2-3 nights a week and will begin in April.
What are the age groupings for Spring Lacrosse?
Where can I go to learn more about the sport of lacrosse?
Lacrosse is one of the nation's fastest growing sports and there are great resources available online. One of the best resources for players and parents is YouTube, where you can find instructional videos and watch full lacrosse games and highlights. We have an index of resources available on our website here. We also recommend US Lacrosse as a good place to start.
What is the refund policy?
The Timberwolves Lacrosse program strives to serve our community by providing a competitive, fun, and safe environment where our Lake Villa youths develop as athletes, learn teamwork and the love of the game. We welcome your questions and feedback.
